WaveGrip’s C-80 multi-packing applicator is helping Florida brewery, Due South Brewing Co. to pack its range of canned craft beer much more efficiently and cost-effectively and is predicted to pay for itself in under a year!
To meet growing demand for its canned beers, the Florida based brewery have installed a C-80 multi-packing applicator. The value engineered applicator has been installed at the end of the canning line and is running at 35 cans-per-minute to fit with the current production requirements.
It occupies only 1.4m x 0.8m allowing room for expansion in the size conscious Brewhouse.
Mike Halker, founder and head brewer of Due South, said: “Once we installed the G1 our packaging ran much smoother and it saved us a lot of labor at the end of the line. The difference is incredible!

Producing 16oz 4 and 6-pack configurations the C-80 applicator uses the latest in WaveGrip carrier material, meaning it is the lightest and most environmentally sustainable flexible carrier on the market.
